\nDear colleagues and friends,<\/p>\n

On behalf of the ICOM\/ICEE board, I invite you to join us for our 2011 ICEE – International Committee for Exhibitions and Exchange – Annual Meeting, hosted by the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin, Germany, from October 24th to October 26th 2011.<\/p>\n

The ICEE board, in close collaboration with colleagues in Berlin, is planning three days of keynote addresses, panel sessions, study tours and many networking opportunities including our well known Marketplace of ideas and exhibitions around the general theme of \u201cGo International! The Challenge of Creating International Exhibitions.\u201d<\/p>\n

During this inspiring meeting, we will discuss new challenges in exhibition development in a global context. Also, we will take a closer look at new museum concepts in Berlin, including the Neues Museum, the Museumsinsel, the Humboldt-Forum and other exciting venues.
\nAgain this year, we will hold our traditional \u201cMarketplace of exhibitions and ideas\u201d as one highlight of our meeting and our touring day in museums and exhibitions.<\/p>\n

A program of Study Tours will provide valuable \u201cbehind the scenes\u201d access to exhibitions currently on view in Berlin. Program updates will be posted on the ICEE new website (<http:\/\/WWW.ICEE.ICOM.MUSEUM>)<\/p>\n

As the ICEE board works toward the next ICOM Triennial Conference in Rio de Janeiro in 2013, we encourage each of you to forward this announcement to all colleagues who might be interested in joining us in Berlin this year.<\/p>\n
