ICOFOM in 2021 About ICOFOM
This year has been fruitful, and we are happy to share it with you.
ICOFOM Annual Symposium
This year’s symposium was entitled “The Decolonization of Museology: Museums, Mixing, and the Myths of Origins”. The event, previously scheduled to be held physically in Montreal from 28 September to 2 October 2020, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We held it online from 15 to 18 March 2021.
All the videos are accessible over Facebook by following this link. The program can be accessed over the symposium’s official website: http://www.icofom2021.ca/

Monographs
Since 2018 ICOFOM, has been developing a monographic series, with a specific design. Each publication is available online, and many of the first monographs were printed (75 to 100 ex.). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to distribute them in digital form with the exception of the monograph in collaboration with the University of Jyväskylä thanks to their support with the publishing expenses.
