Regional subcommittee of ICOFOM for the study, discussion and production of museological theory in Latin American and the Caribbean.

Since its beginning, ICOFOM LAC has been to promote and document the investigation work of Latin American museological theory,  allowing a greater participation of its members through the annual meetings in its countries; scientific discussions, professional interchange and publications in Spanish and Portuguese. We consider the academical production and theoretical debate the best nurture for our discipline. Therefore we invite everyone to visit, join and contribute to our spaces of communication.
